Dominion Dealer Solutions announces General Motors recertification of Autobase and AVV as Certified Lead Management Providers (CLMP)

Norfolk, VA., August 26, 2010 - Dominion Dealer Solutions, a division of Dominion Enterprises, today announced that General Motors (GM) has approved recertification for both Autobase and AVV as Certified Lead Management Providers (CLMP).  Autobase and AVV are premier CRM and ILM providers for auto dealers nationwide.

 

As part of this program, GM requires each of its US dealerships to use a certified lead management provider for receiving and responding to OEM-generated Internet leads.  Based on criteria listed in GM's Statement of Certification Requirements, over 70 technology standards were required for the recertification.  These standards ranged from changes in performance reporting to lead processing, and training updates to lead handling.

AVV launches redesign of its automotive website, AVV.com

GetAuto.com launches mobile Web site

 

NORFOLK, Va., June 7, 2010 - GetAuto.com, a division of Dominion Dealer Solutions, has launched a mobile Web site that will allow in-market car shoppers to connect with dealers. Web browsers on mobile devices will automatically redirect to the new site located at http://m.getauto.com, eliminating the excessive content and loading time of the full Web site.

GetAuto.com's new mobile Web site will provide car buyers access to over 700,000 vehicles and 6,000 dealers, and it will allow users to share vehicle information on popular social networking Web sites. Users may still access the full GetAuto.com Web site from their mobile devices via a link in the footer.

The new mobile GetAuto.com Web site, while more condensed, offers the same extensive car search capabilities as the full Web site. The new mobile technology allows users to customize their search for specific dealers or vehicles and also to search for dealers by zip code. Search results include multiple pictures, detailed listing data, email capability, and an advanced dealership mapping tool that integrates with the navigation and mapping function of most mobile devices.

GetAuto.com now also offers an upgraded iPhone application that detects iPhone usage. When iPhone users visit the GetAuto.com mobile Web site, they are automatically asked if they would like to download the upgraded GetAuto.com iPhone application. This application includes user-friendly navigation and car sorting options, as well as a loan calculator. The loan calculator allows the user to input interest rate, price, and down payment to calculate the monthly vehicle payment.

Dealerskins names new general manager

No stranger to the automotive industry, High is currently the general manager of XIGroup, also a division of Dominion Dealer Solutions, based in Baltimore, Md. High started at XIGroup in 2001, working his way up from the customer service department to project/operations manager. In November 2007 he became XIGroup’s general manager and in March of 2010 was promoted to his current role overseeing Dealerskins and XIGroup.

High graduated from Salisbury State University where he double-majored in Business Management and Management Information Systems. He earned his master of business administration in 2007 from the University of Baltimore. He currently lives in Perry Hall, Md. and works out of the XIGroup offices in White Marsh, Md., but will be relocating to Dealerskins’ offices in Nashville, Tenn.

Mazda again names Dealerskins preferred website provider

Customized reports will be available on demand
